Production process

The laboratory method is carried out in a 100ml three-necked flask. The three-necked flask is equipped with a stirrer, thermometer, reflux condenser, and is heated with an adjustable electric heating mantle.

Add 20g of waste acrylic powder, 80ml of methanol, 7g of water and a certain amount of caustic soda into the three-necked flask in sequence, stir to raise the temperature, and react at this temperature for a certain period of time, then cool to 20-30°C, filter, and dry (naturally dry for 12 hours above 10°C). The filtrate is recovered and reused.

The optimal conditions for preparing Na-HPAN by hydrolyzing waste acrylic powder as raw material in methanol solvent are 20g acrylic powder, 7g caustic soda, 7g water, 80ml methanol, the reaction temperature is 65-70°C, and the reaction time is 3h. The yield reached 96.4%.
